Networking and Events

Becoming an AfBAA Member allows your company to join the growing community of flight operators and suppliers which has the common goal of improving our profession and creating a platform through which to grow your commercial interests. Meetings will be held in a variety of African locations.

AfBAA holds several major events each year; AfBAA Rendez-Vous, AfBAA African Pavilion at EBACE and AfBAA Annual Regional Symposium. Moreover; AfBAA will be organising the AfBAA Expo every two years. AfBAA participates in several African & Non-African conferences and airshows including the National Business Aviation Association Annual Conference and Expo, NBAA, The World Economic Forum, WEF, and the meetings of the African Union (AU). Additionally AfBAA . AfBAA also supports and sponsors a number of Business Aviation conferences.

Access to Information and Knowledge

AfBAA acts as a research hub conducting and collecting vital information to provide knowledge and the right tools to grow members' business activities, customise and improve their service offering, and assess future requirements. AfBAA is also committed to updating its members about challenges and issues that impact Business Aviation in Africa through various communication channels such as newsletters and social media tools.

AfBAA successfully published its first and most comprehensive in-depth research endeavour regarding Business Aviation in Africa titled: "State of Business Aviation in Africa". AfBAA will publish subsequent research updates to provide its members and the general public with the necessary tools to plan and grow their activities across the industry as well as provide policy makers with the community's feedback regarding the state of the industry.

International Standards

AfBAA's vision includes partnering with local African authorities to update and adopt international standards as IS-BAO and IS-BAH that will improve safety, security, and efficiencies for local operators and suppliers.
